Hello Beautiful Soul
And Welcome to California! Thank you for sharing this ride with me and for walking your own beautiful road as I walk mine. I am feeling a little weary as I sit and write to you this afternoon. I am seated in a beautiful hotel lobby for some peace and some secure WiFi.
Having recognised how last week took its toll, I spent the greater part of my first two days being still. Resting. I am still acclimatising to being in a big city again. The assault on the senses has been something else after the peace and stillness of the desert.
It is re-minding me of the power of contrast. Something that we all experience all of the time. The wonderFULL mechanism that enables us to make informed choice.
And as much as it would be easy to hop on a plane and fly back to Mexico, I am here for a reason. For many reasons. Following my guidance ever onwards to lead me to where I need to be. To the people and the experiences that I need to learn and grow through.
It’s the ever present re-minder that we are here to expand. To seed a more expanded consciousness into the field, by embracing more of ourselves. Rather than shying away when things become hard.
I am recognising in myself and others a call to hold more than one state of being simultaneously. In other words, even when we may be struggling within we can still hold JoY, and/or other emotions, at the same time.
If we recognise this as a natural part of our evolution, we can more readily embrace what we are experiencing. Neither negating nor ignoring any parts of ourselves. Instead embracing them all.
